Consume
What started out as a simple roadside rubbish pickup exercise every time I went out for a walk or ride has morphed into a reflective and ongoing study of modern packaging and marketing of consumer products in modern society. From my frustration of how others chose to discard their rubbish, (which is primarily by throwing it out of the car window), I have opportunistically made images that I hope show both the inherent beauty and ugliness of what has been discarded, as well as highlighting the world's finite ability to perpetualy keep providing resources that we end up throwing out anyway. This collection I’ve been working on for years, and will continue to be ongoing.
